Additional costs (not included in rates)
Conservancy fee (charged per night):
- Adults $116 per night
- Children (under 18 years) $58 per night
Park fees in Maasai Mara National Reserve (valid for 12 hours):
- 1 January – 30 June: adults (non-resident) $100, children (9–17 years) $50
- 1 July – 31 December: adults (non-resident) $200, children (9–17 years) $50
Imported wines, luxury spirits and cocktails are not included in the all-inclusive or full-board rates.
Cancellation policy
Once you have booked and transferred payment, the following applies. We try to be as lenient as we can, especially in exceptional circumstances.
- Cancelling for medical reasons at any time: with medical evidence we are happy to postpone your booking to a later date without any fee.
- Cancelling more than 12 weeks before travel: we keep your payment against a future booking without penalty, or we can discuss a refund.
- Cancelling more than 8 weeks before arrival: we keep your deposit and refund the rest of your payment.
- Cancelling within 4–6 weeks of travel: a charge of 60% of the full cost.
- Cancelling within 3 weeks of travel: the full amount is charged, as there is little time left to fill your tent.
- Failing to travel, or leaving the safari before it is complete: no refund can be made.
